During the intense last studying year in Linz at the ABPU I began to write songs for myself. Right away, at the same time, the other musicians for the project were found, some of them did join me already for years, and we started to rehearse and to perform.
As the ideas and the sound of the music got more facets and varieties, the filling of the live band and the instruments had to change. The jazzy sound of a real piano and the warm, round sound of the Wurlitzer or Rhodes side by side do build a wonderful carpet for the melodies; I do appreciate having a percussionist – with his sounds he enriches the compositions to their heights!
It is a music not only for the heart, but also for the body: groovy songs , with dance floor grooves ; gripping Latin or Tango patterns that make your feet go crazy, even jazzy licks in combination with drum & bass – we`re gonna rock the roof right off any house!
We do perform live, we love to improvise and to have the freedom for fun on our stage, therefore FLEUR is the perfect band chosen for a Club setting, with some space to dance.
